Voice Of The Prophets

By Dr. Andrew Edwards III

Foreword

For those who love the words in The One Book of God, as written by God, The Voice of the Prophets will be seen perhaps to be the most unique study and reference tool produced in this century. In a day when there are many, who are deceitfully influenced by Protestant Dispensationalism, which un-rightly divides up The Word of God, this diligent work by Dr. Edwards proves beyond a doubt, that “…the scriptures cannot be broken…” (John 10:35)

He has researched the quotes of the Prophets which “…were written aforetime for our learning…,”(Romans 15:4) and shows where those inspired words were given to the human writers of the books of Matthew through Revelation “…as they were moved by The Holy Ghost…” (II Peter 1:22) This book makes plain the teachings of the words of I Corinthians 14:32-33. “And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

As you will use The Voice of the Prophets, you will have your faith in God’s perfect Book reinforced, and you will see that truly All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…”

How to use this book

As mentioned before, Voice of the Prophets is a reference tool to help you in your study of God’s Word. Inside each chapter of this book, from Matthew to Revelation, will reveal the Old Testament prophets quoted or referenced.  Each book will also show the wording used when referring to the voice of the Old Testament prophets. This will give the reader a better understanding of how a majority of the Holy Scriptures are Moses, the law, the prophets and the Psalms ether quoted or referenced.

Each time wording is given, referencing an Old Testament prophet, the phrasing will be underlined and the Old Testament Scripture will follow the verse you are reading.

Example:

Matt 2:15, And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Hosea 11:1, When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Also, many Old Testament Scriptures will be given throughout the book under a given verse which will shed light on the subject matter of the verse. This will help the reader to have a clearer understanding of what the verse is talking about.  The Scripture will interpret itself. I trust you will enjoy using this tool in your study. Taste and see that the Lord is good.
